In a significant move towards sustainable development, BECIS built a second solar power plant for Accelink. This new plant, located in the Accelink Premium Opto-electronic Device Industrial Base in the Wuhan Eastlake Free Trade Zone, has a capacity of 1.99984 megawatts peak (MWp). It is expected to generate up to 2109 MWh of clean energy annually, potentially reducing carbon emissions by 1202 tons. This achievement further solidifies the collaboration between the two companies.
Accelink, a world-leading developer and manufacturer of optoelectronic devices and modules, is dedicated to green development. In 2022, Accelink built its first solar power plant with a capacity of 1.8188 MWp in the Optoelectronic Industrial Park. In 2023, it generated 2012 MWh and reduced carbon emissions by 1148 tons.
The new solar power plant marks a significant milestone in Accelink's ongoing commitment to sustainable practices and renewable energy adoption.
